This weekend Jeff and I had an amazing experience. My mom has wanted to be sealed to her parents for some time now. She started going back to the temple about a year and a half ago and is one of the most devoted temple attenders I have ever met. Well ever since she went back she has been saying she really wants to get sealed to her parents, but then things seemed to get in the way and she kept putting it off. Well finally on Saturday we went to the temple and she was sealed. It was such a spiritual experience. Jeff and I were able to proxy for her parents. It was such an honor and privilege for me to do this for my mom. I have never felt the spirit so strong in all my life. It was such a testimony of eternal families to me. It was also a very touching experience there for me as well. Having mom do this has not only sealed her to her parents and ancestors, but it has also sealed Brittany and I to them as well. It is such a great feeling to know that I will be with the people I love for all eternity. I am very blessed to have the family I have.

What an amazing experience. That will always be such a special memory. I remember the different times we did work for John's family. There was just a "different" feeling doing it for family vs. for someone you don't know!
That is awesome! Sealings are such an amazing experience...especially when it is for your family and it's more personal! Congrats!
Stephanie! It's Ashley Arave. I had heard from Justin Carmony that you had gotten married. You look so happy! Congratulations. That is very special that you were able to share that wonderful experience with your mom.
What a wonderful gift for everyone involved. Thats a beautiful expereince! We keep saying that we need to seal Grandma and Grandpa Dirks. Thanks for that nudge to get those conversations started again.
